Did you know you can personalize your Profile on deskbird?
Go to your Profile, navigate to the bottom left corner of the web app and click the icon with your initials. Then, click Profile.
If you are using our mobile app, tap on the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen

- Change your profile picture by clicking on the little purple camera icon on the bottom right of the icon with your initials.
- Edit your name and last name.
- Please note that you cannot change your company name or email address. Should you spot any mistakes, please reach out to your deskbird Admin.

You can decide whether or not to receive notifications in the following cases:

2.1 Calendar invites
If you have this turned on, you will receive a calendar invite for every booking you make. The calendar invite (standard ICS files) should work with any common calendar system like Google Calendar or Outlook. Please note that deleting or editing the calendar invite does not change the actual deskbird booking. To do so, please go to your Bookings in deskbird and change them there.
You can get this notification via email after you make a booking. As you can see, you can connect it to your work calendar (e.g. Google or Outlook) or your computer's calendar (e.g. Apple).
You can always check the Bookings section of our web and mobile apps to view your existing bookings.
2.2 Check-in reminders
If your company has activated check-in, you will get a reminder notification before your booking starts.
You get this notification both via email and push notifications.
This notification is incredibly useful! Not only does it remind you to check in (if required by your company), but it also has a nifty button that lets you check in directly. Perfect for when you have a lot on your plate and can't remember your booking time. deskbird makes your life simpler!
2.3 Cancellation notice
You get this notification both via email and push notifications.
If you have calendar invites turned on, we recommend turning on the booking cancelation notifications. This will ensure that the calendar invite is automatically deleted when your booking is canceled (by yourself or your Admin).
2.4 Schedule reminders
You will get this notification as a friendly reminder to plan your next week if your company uses Week Planning. You can get this both via email and push notifications.
3. Change your language
You can apply the system-setting language or choose between German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Ukrainian. Read here more about this topic. There will be more languages available soon.
4. Choose your main office
This option is, of course, applicable when your company has more locations.
Click on the arrow on the right and the list of all the office locations will appear.
Selecting your main office is to ensure that when you schedule your week, the right office is automatically selected.
Now your profile is personalized and ready to use.
